Sean and Jackie love sharing their infectious joy and enthusiasm for tango to everyone they meet! They started dancing tango 13 years ago at their respective university clubs (UC Santa Cruz for Sean and Stanford for Jackie) and continued growing in tango with numerous mentors. Sean moved to Colorado for graduate school and was fortunate enough to study extensively with Giselle Anne and Gustavo Naveira. In 2017, he and his partner won the ATUSA stage category and represented the US at the Tango Mundial. Jackie moved to Washington, DC for graduate school where she honed her passion for fluid co-creation with a wide range of maestros across all styles of tango. Sean and Jackie started dancing together in 2020 and have since taught and performed across the country, most notably the Windy City Tango Festival and the Argentine Tango USA National Competition. They currently teach at the Princeton Tango Club, previously co-hosted the Tuesday Tango Training Practica in DC, and will take any opportunity to share their love of body mechanics, self-expression, effective training practices, and strategies to nurture safe, fruitful partnerships.
