Gonzalo André is a “Cantor” (tango singer), musician and dancer that has carried in his veins, the Carlos Gardel’s legacy for 33 years. Learning a repertoire of 400 tangos, he became singer of Domingo Rullo’s Orchestra “Típica” for seven years in radio, theater and television. Domingo Rullo from Córdoba, Argentina, was bandoneonist of Edgardo Donato and Roberto Biagi orchestras and accompanied Hugo del Carril and Libertad Lamarque in Buenos Aires during the 50’s.

Gonzalo André currently lives in Houston, performing, teaching and organizing workshops with tango maestros from Argentina in La Casa del Tango de Houston (Houston Tango House).
