It is a unique group in the world, created by Celina Rotundo during the pandemic, online with the idea of ​​providing a space for those women who did not have a partner to dance at home. With the motivation of generating progress and personal connection of each dancer playing with the scenic projection applied to social dance.

Currently the team has more than 30 women located in different parts of the world. The dancers work in person and virtually, learning a very effective different way of working on everything that a Tanguera has to know to be free on the dance floor. Above all, the idea is to develop and enhance each member’s own character, confidence and style when dancing.

The idea is to enhance the female role in Tango, to work individually, but also as a team, in a different way. We share experiences, we look for answers to all the questions of the follower role within Argentine Tango. The members aim to take their individual Tango to another level, and to build a community with other peers in different parts of the planet. Working on interpretation, musical timing, Argentine Tango technique, postures and poses, visual aesthetics, stretching techniques, balance, body expression, connection with the ground, through choreography.

The International Tango Femme Team has representatives in: Dallas, Miami, Austin, Japan, Peru, Ireland, Brazil, Argentina, Hong Kong, Maryland, Mexico, San Francisco, Ohio, Guatemala, Louisiana, Connecticut, New Orleans, El Paso, Miami and Washington, Oklahoma, Kansas, California, among others.

The team members can choose the final objective of their process. Currently the team is made up of dancers who wish to train artistically and participate in performances and shows that will be held in various venues, but there are also many dancers who choose to live the experience of being part of the team, enjoying this movement as part of their entertainment and personal training, and do not want stage exposure.

This team has participated in many important Argentine Tango events in Dallas, Chicago, Denver, Mexico, the Philippines and Buenos Aires!!!

They have danced in mythical tango venues in Buenos Aires such as «Milonga Parakultural» Salon Canning, Salon Marabu, La Catedral del Tango, Pipi Cucu and La Leonesa, La Nacional Pipi Cucu, at Lady’s Tango Festival and CITA, Windy City Tango Festival Chicago, Tango on the rocks Denver, Philipinas Cebu Tango Festival and Dallas Holiday Tango Weekend Festival.

In addition, every year they are the protagonists of the International Tango Show in Dallas and Buenos Aires, in an incredible theater together with Tango Orchestras such as Tango Bardo, Amores Tangos and Tango Llaneros among others.

The dancers who choose to participate in the shows and performances will also have the unique opportunity to wear their own By Celina Rotundo Tango dress, unique pieces designed and hand-made one by one, exclusively for them by Celina.

The face-to-face meetings are held in the City of Dallas, but they have a great ONLINE OPTION so you can join this program from your home!

The online meetings are once a week, on Saturdays at 10 am CT, via Zoom. You just need a small space in your home where you can connect and dance. The fantastic thing about this option is that every week you will receive the recording of the class to practice as many times as you want, whenever you want!

And the in-person meetings are on Mondays at 6pm at Dcd the Academy Carrollton Tx, and you also receive the opportunity to participate in the virtual meeting and the recording.
